There will be food and fellowship  following the 9AM service on Sunday, September 17, 2017 in celebration of Holy Cross Day.

There will be no change in the Saturday evening service on September 16, 2017.

The United Thank Offering will be collected September 9-10, please give prayerful thought to the amount that you give. Checks may be made payable to : Holy Cross Episcopal Church.

The choir will resume singing at the 9 AM service on Sunday, September 17. Anyone wishing to join will be welcomed. Choir  practice is Saturday 11AM.

If you were unable to turn in your UTO offering there is still time.

The Episcopal Regional Youth Group  will be sponsoring a gathering at Dymond’s Farm  on the 8th. of October, 2017. There will be a hayride, pumpkin picking and a fireside party.  Holy Cross’ Youth Group will cover the cost.  Anyone interested in attending can contact Bill Falzone-570-762-3287.  Everyone will meet at Dymond’s Farm at 1:30PM, with the hayride starting at 2PM.

Remember Church School will resume this Sunday, Oct.1.

The Hayride sponsored by the  Regional Youth Group was a great success with 31 attending. As pictures come in we will get them posted.

Remember to submit the names of those individuals that have passed  that  would like to have remembered in the All Souls Sunday Bulletin. A contribution of $ 1.00 per name would be appreciated.  Names must be in by October 29, 2017. If paying by check, please make payable to : Holy Cross Episcopal Church.

Don’t forget donations of non-perishable items for the Reach Program.  Also, we continue to collect empty ink cartridges for recycling and car wash certificates are always available for purchase. The Church receives $3 for every $6 certificate purchased.

Thanksgiving Eve Service will be Wednesday, November 22 at 7:00 PM.

There is a basket in the Church for donations for the ECM&W Christmas baskets for the sick and home-bound.

The ECM&W will be preparing baskets for the sick and  home-bound this Saturday Dec. 23 at the Church 9AM.  Anyone wanting to help is welcome.  Donations of Christmas cookies would also be greatly appreciated.

The annual meeting did not take place this past Sunday due to a lack of a quorum.  It has been rescheduled to this coming Sunday, January 28, please make every effort to be present.

Ash Wednesday Service will be February 14, 2018 at 7PM. There will be sung Eucharest and imposition of ashes.
