The City of Wilkes-Barre is asking non-profit community partners to consider making a contribution through the City’s PILOT (Payment In Lieu of Taxes) Program. The program helps to offset the cost of services provided to us such as Fire/EMS and Police. The Vestry voted at the September meeting to have a special Thanksgiving offering and whatever we collect will be sent to the city. We ask that you respond no later than November 19, 2017. Checks should be made payable to Holy Cross Episcopal Church, put in a special envelope and placed in the alms basin.
